This Gold Medal Large stamped aluminum scoop will work great either as a popcorn scoop. It's an economical scoop designed for light duty. This scoop is built very well and should work wonderfully, but we purchased one ounce bags and this makes it hard to use. It is wonderful for scooping up into a bowl. Right Handed
